Regulation Schemes

Use this reference data to manage regulation schemes, which support multiple qualification regulations and associated rounding schemes at all levels of the curriculum.

Selecting a scheme displays its properties.

Regulation properties enable you to manage rounding rules and other parameters and properties at all levels of the curriculum structure. You can then apply the correct rules in line with all regulations, regardless of how many awarding bodies they are affiliated with.

The Regulation Properties section consists of the following fields.

This field	Holds this information...
Regulation Outcome Type	The outcome type associated with this regulation scheme. Only types with Requires Outcome set to Y are displayed in the drop-down list.
Rounding Decimal Places	The number of decimal places that results for the specified regulation outcome type are to be rounded to. The value can be any between 0 and 10. Note: The value cannot be null and defaults to zero.
Rounding Method	The rounding method to be used. Select from the following options: Half up - this is the default value Half down Nearest even
